BTS Consulting Europe (hereinafter, “BTS”), respects the privacy of all the users of its website and commits to protect the personal and/or confidential information each user chooses to share. Some sections and/or functionalities of this website may be visited without the need for the user to share any personal and/or confidential information.

Protection of Personal Data

The entity responsible to colleting and handling your personal data is BTS.

By using our website, the user agrees with such collection and handling of personal data, which will be subject to computer processing and maintained on the company’s database exclusively of the purposes set forth in this Privacy Policy.

Within the scope of the vendors data management, the personal data collected may be transferred to our partner LSP agencies and final customers (i.e. individuals, companies and public entities), with the sole purpose of disclosing the linguistic services, professional experience, working language pairs and other professional skills relating the holder of the personal data collected. No personally identifiable information – i.e. home address, phone numbers, e-mail address, ID number or other sensitive information – shall be shared in any situation and protective measures are in place to prevent access to this information.

Within the scope of final clients and partner LSP agencies’ data management, the personal data collected through online forms and emails shall not be transferred, sold, rented, or otherwise disclosed to third parties; however, documents where the client’s or third party’s personal information, such as Name, Home address, Date of birth, etc, or other information that is confidential in nature may be shared with our Language Services Providers (linguists or partner agencies) for the sole purpose of performing the service requested by the client or agency, under the conditions set forth herein.

In addition, personal data we collect may be shared with entities with the competence to require the disclosure of such details, namely governmental authorities and legal entities, in case of disputes, litigation, audits or judicial investigation.

Sharing your personal data is optional and, under the applicable law, the right to access, modify or delete any data provided shall always be assured to you by us and may be exercised, personally, via e-mail or by post using the contact information on our website’s home page and contacts’ page.
Confidentiality

In order to safeguard our individual customers’ personal data and confidential information, all BTS vendors are required to sign a Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality Agreement in compliance in which they undertake to deem all personal information in documents, files, media, etc., which we may share with them for the performance of the services requested, as confidential and privileged, and to protect, to the best of their knowledge and ability, all facts and material relationships made known within the scope of our business relations with our customers, vendors and partners.
